The live broadcast of Path of Exile 3.15 extension is scheduled for 1p PDT on their official Twitch channel on July 15. Besides the QA with ZiggyD and Chris Wilson, players are also looking forward to seeing some new content revealed. This latest extension is expected to be released on the PC on July 23, and then on the console on July 28, and will be as free as the previous extension. To prepare for the 3.15 expansion pack, Grinding Gear Games released some patch notes, bringing some improvements and optimizations to the Path of Exile engine.
It is expected that this patch 3.14.3 will release sometime this week. Besides bringing some general game improvements, there will also be changes and improvements to the engine. Developers will replace the old performance indicator graphs with new graphs that show more information. They are now drawing several metrics on the same graph, and using bar graphs to show the relative load on different systems (CPU, GPU, system memory, VRAM, drivers, shader compilation, latency, and instance server). If one of these bars reaches the maximum value, then this is the current bottleneck where players should consider hardware upgrades. If they found serious problems such as insufficient VRAM, the display will remind players to pay attention to this.
If players are experiencing performance issues and want to make a video to show to GGG, they can open the performance indicator charts because they contain a lot of information about performance bottlenecks. If the shader bar reminds players that the shader is very slow to load or save, they should consider changing the drive storing the shader cache to a faster drive. Earlier this year, Grinding Gear Games held a QA around the game mechanics and POE Currency Buy.
At present, time is getting closer and closer. All players need to do is to wait patiently and buy more POE Currency in order to achieve outstanding achievements in various challenges in the future. Keep up the competition!
